    Z SUPPLY FAVORITES

I have been shopping at Z Supply for years and they are still one of my favorite brands; the quality of their clothing is truly one of the best. They are my go to for lounge wear and they have added so much to their site over the years – matching sets, tanks, t shirts, dresses + more. Below are some of my favorites that I currently own and love – click on each photo to be directed to the site.

THE TOT: BABY + TODDLER ITEMS

We recently received a few pieces for Jack from Hart + Land’s line at The Tot and I was so amazed by the quality of each piece. The bamboo material is insanely soft, stretchy + does not shrink in the wash. Jack has been sleeping in the brown polka dot sleep sack pictured below every single night since it came in and I definitely plan on purchasing a backup one asap. Since he just turned one last month, we ordered everything in size 12-18 months and I would say they fit true to size, with room to grow into! Below are a few of our favorite pieces + a few…

ROAD TRIP – SANTE FE + SEDONA

Two weeks ago, my family and I took another road trip with our (now) 9 month old! Last time we took a long trip, Jack was about 4 months old. I wasn’t sure how he was going to be this time now that he is older, but he did so well! He slept majority of the time and as long as he was fed and changed, he was pretty content. At the end of this post, I will include what we brought for Jack and items that made the trip a lot easier 🙂 My dad’s wife, Catherine, turned 60 and her daughters planned a surprise birthday trip for her…

    HOME DECOR FINDS

Home decor pieces are something I am always rotating and changing up, no matter the time of year. Overall, I would say my style is a combination of modern and mid century. My home is full of neutrals + earth tones, so it’s easy to switch things up every now and then while still keeping its current style. I love finding inspiration through different home accounts on instagram, magazines and pinterest. Home decor and accent pieces don’t always have to cost an arm and a leg and as much as I constantly find myself redecorating and switching up different areas , I try to keep it budget friendly! There are…

    TRAVELING WITH A BABY

Mid July, our family took a road trip with my in laws to Wisconsin for a little family reunion. We originally planned on flying but with COVID-19 and it’s ongoing uncertainty, we decided it would be safer to drive, especially with a 5 month old. I actually love a good road trip and all of the fun stops + sights in between. Webster, Wisconsin (the final meeting point for the reunion) is about 16 hours from Dallas, TX and I know what you may be thinking – “16 hours in the car….with a baby? You’re crazy.” But it was a really fun experience, we learned a lot and most importantly,…

8 MONTH BABY UPDATE + FAVORITES

I can’t believe I already have an 8 month old- time truly is flying by. I feel like I was just posting my ‘newborn must-haves’ and as much as I already miss that stage, there is no better feeling than seeing your baby grow and learn new things. This stage has definitely been my favorite so far; I can already see his little personality coming out. Jack is crawling all over the place, pulling himself up and opening up any drawer and cabinet he can find (*adds baby proof cabinet locks to cart*). We have been introducing new foods each week and it has been so much fun preparing his…

    POSTPARTUM MUST HAVES

The postpartum recovery process is something I wasn’t quite prepared for and if there is anything that can make the recovery any faster and/or easier, it’s these products I’ve listed below. That first week (or month) after delivering is SO tough and if I could go back, I would make sure these items were ready to go upon arriving home from the hospital; anything to make the postpartum recovery as smooth, easy and pain free as possible!

    BABY MUST-HAVES

Making a baby registry can be a little overwhelming, especially with the large variety in products and brands available these days. I knew I wanted to be as prepared as possible but I also didn’t want anything to go unused. Before making a registry, I advise you to think of a color scheme or “theme” of the baby’s room and that will make it a little easier when checking the items off your list. I knew Jack’s room was going to be pretty neutral and I was able to find items that fit the style I was going for, while keeping it baby friendly.   Crib / Rainbow Onesie /…
