TODDLER + BABY BOY FAVES
Babies are constantly growing and changing, and as soon as you buy any item in their current size, they immediately grow out of it in weeks. When buying anything for Jack, I always buy a few sizes up to make sure it’ll fit by the time it arrives, if not a couple more months. Some say baby boys are so hard to shop for or that they can’t find anything cute, but I disagree; I love all of the fun boy outfits + it’s so easy to dress them up with a little jacket, sneakers and a beanie, especially in the fall (which will be here before we know it).…

RECENT TODDLER PURCHASES
Jack has outgrown so many pieces from last year and a few of his everyday shoes, so I decided to order a few new summer pieces for him. The white vans below are probably my favorite shoes of his and the easiest ones to take off and on, so I re-ordered them in a bigger size, along with his sleep sack that he outgrew. I also ordered him a bigger car seat, a few swimsuits, more bibs + a few other things. All products are linked below – I also ordered him a new hat and romper (pictured below) from GOUMI KIDS – one of my favorite baby brands.…

THE TOT: BABY + TODDLER ITEMS
We recently received a few pieces for Jack from Hart + Land’s line at The Tot and I was so amazed by the quality of each piece. The bamboo material is insanely soft, stretchy + does not shrink in the wash. Jack has been sleeping in the brown polka dot sleep sack pictured below every single night since it came in and I definitely plan on purchasing a backup one asap. Since he just turned one last month, we ordered everything in size 12-18 months and I would say they fit true to size, with room to grow into! Below are a few of our favorite pieces + a few…

TRAVELING WITH A BABY
Mid July, our family took a road trip with my in laws to Wisconsin for a little family reunion. We originally planned on flying but with COVID-19 and it’s ongoing uncertainty, we decided it would be safer to drive, especially with a 5 month old. I actually love a good road trip and all of the fun stops + sights in between. Webster, Wisconsin (the final meeting point for the reunion) is about 16 hours from Dallas, TX and I know what you may be thinking – “16 hours in the car….with a baby? You’re crazy.” But it was a really fun experience, we learned a lot and most importantly,…

8 MONTH BABY UPDATE + FAVORITES
I can’t believe I already have an 8 month old- time truly is flying by. I feel like I was just posting my ‘newborn must-haves’ and as much as I already miss that stage, there is no better feeling than seeing your baby grow and learn new things. This stage has definitely been my favorite so far; I can already see his little personality coming out. Jack is crawling all over the place, pulling himself up and opening up any drawer and cabinet he can find (*adds baby proof cabinet locks to cart*). We have been introducing new foods each week and it has been so much fun preparing his…

BABY MUST-HAVES
Making a baby registry can be a little overwhelming, especially with the large variety in products and brands available these days. I knew I wanted to be as prepared as possible but I also didn’t want anything to go unused. Before making a registry, I advise you to think of a color scheme or “theme” of the baby’s room and that will make it a little easier when checking the items off your list. I knew Jack’s room was going to be pretty neutral and I was able to find items that fit the style I was going for, while keeping it baby friendly. Crib / Rainbow Onesie /…
